Our "Flying Guidons" are intended for unit use and are made "in house" with high grade denier nylons designed for flags. All threads used are equally high quality "Medeira" brand nylon which is both fade resistant and durable. Unless otherwise specified we follow appropriate guidelines for your service's guidon (i.e. AR 840-10 for Army).
The guidon itself is cut from rolls of material, sewn by hand and machine, and assembled in house. We do not purchase premade flags for quality reasons.
Bayeux offers single panel guidons where embroidered images are sewn onto patches and then sewn onto the flag - or - double panel guidons were images are embroidered directly on two separate panels before they are joined and sewn into one guidon. All seams are double stitched and the guidon is complete with a pole sleeve (additional material where the staff is inserted) and two leather screw tabs, one top and one bottom.
